New England Biolabs, Inc. Deep Vent DNA Polymerase – 1000 units
Deep Vent DNA Polymerase was the second high-fidelity thermophilic DNA polymerase available from New England Biolabs. The fidelity of Deep Vent DNA Polymerase is derived in part from an integral 3 5 proofreading exonuclease activity. Deep Vent is even more stable than Vent at temperatures of 95 to 100C.
New England Biolabs, Inc. Ph.D.-12 Phage Display Peptide Library Kit v2 - 1 set
The Ph.D.-12 Phage Display Peptide Library Kit v2 is based on a combinatorial library of random dodecapeptides fused to the N-terminus of a minor coat protein (pIII) of M13 phage. The peptide is followed by a short spacer (Gly-Gly-Gly) which directly precedes the wild-type pIII sequence. The library consists of about 1E09 electroporated sequences amplified once to yield approximately 100 copies of each sequence in 10 ul of the supplied phage. The Ph.D.-12 Phage Display Peptide Library Kit v2 contains the Ph.D.-12 Phage Display Peptide Library a DYKDDDDK Mouse monoclonal antibody and Protein G Magnetic Beads for a panning control experiment and enough -96gIII sequencing primer for greater than 50 sequencing reactions.
New England Biolabs, Inc. Faustovirus Capping Enzyme - 500u
Faustovirus Capping Enzyme (FCE) catalyzes the addition of N7-methylguanosine cap (m7G) to the 5 prime end of triphosphorylated and diphosphorylated transcripts producing Cap-0 RNA. FCE is a single-subunit enzyme that combines the three activities necessary to produce the Cap-0 structure- triphosphatase guanylyltransferase and (guanine-N7)-methyltransferase. Installation of Cap-0 is a key step in eukaryotic mRNA maturation along with 2-O-methylation at position 1 (Cap-1) and polyadenosine (poly(A)) tailing. The Cap-0 structure also promotes RNA stability and prevents inadvertent activation of innate immune responses triggered by triphosphorylated RNA. FCE retains significant capping activity at low temperatures and tolerates reaction temperatures up to 55C. In many cases 1 uL of FCE (25 units) can cap over 100 ug of RNA in 1 hour at 37C. GTP and S-adenosylmethionine (SAM) are required for capping activity and are included with the enzyme.

The Ph.D.-12 Phage Display Peptide Library contains a single tube of the Ph.D. -12 Phage Library. The Ph.D.-12 library is a combinatorial library of random 12-mer peptides fused to a minor coat protein (pIII) of M13 phage. The displayed peptide is expressed at the N-terminus of pIII. The library consists of approximately 1,000,000,000 electroporated (i.e., unique) sequences.

DNA Polymerase I, Large (Klenow) Fragment is a proteolytic product of E. coli DNA Polymerase I which retains polymerization and 3' to 5' exonuclease activity, but has lost 5' to 3' exonuclease activity. Klenow retains the polymerization fidelity of the holoenzyme without degrading 5' termini.

RecJf is a single-stranded DNA specific exonuclease that catalyzes the removal of deoxy-nucleotide monophosphates from DNA in the 5' to 3' direction. RecJf is a recombinant fusion protein of RecJ and maltose binding protein (MBP). It has the same enzymatic properties as wild-type RecJ. Fusion to MBP enhances RecJf solubility. When DNA containing a 22 base 5' extension is used as a substrate for RecJf, the resulting products are a mixture of DNA fragments that have blunt-ends, 5' extensions (1-5 nucleotides) and recessed 5' ends (1-8 nucleotides). RecJf does not require a 5' phosphate.

The Ph.D. Peptide Display Cloning System contains M13KE vector, the parent vector of NEB's Ph.D. libraries. The included M13 extension primer is used to make DNA duplex out of a user provided synthetic oligo, with or without random bases. The display system is best used to display small peptides, i.e. sequences of 50 amino acids or less.

Vent (exo-) DNA Polymerase has been genetically engineered to eliminate the 3 5 proofreading exonuclease activity associated with Vent DNA Polymerase. This is the preferred form for high-temperature dideoxy sequencing reactions and for high yield primer extension reactions. The fidelity of polymerization by this form is reduced to a level about 2-fold higher than that of Taq DNA Polymerase.

Deep Vent (exo-) DNA Polymerase has been genetically engineered to eliminate the 3' to 5' proofreading exonuclease activity associated with Deep Vent DNA Polymerase. Deep Vent (exo-) DNA Polymerase is even more stable than Vent (exo-) DNA Polymerase with a half-life of 23 hours at 95C and 8 hours at 100C. Both Deep Vent (exo-) and Vent (exo-) DNA Polymerase are suitable for primer extensions and high temperature (72C) DNA sequencing.
New England Biolabs, Inc. M13mp18 Single-stranded DNA – 10 µg
The single-stranded viral DNA is isolated from M13mp18. M13mp18 is a M13 lac phage vector which contains single HindIII, SphI, SbfI, PstI, SalI (AccI/ HincII), XbaI, BamHI, SmaI (XmaI), KpnI (Acc65I), SacI and EcoRI sites within the gene encoding Galactosidase. This DNA preparation is useful as a standard and has been tested as a template in the dideoxy-nucleotide termination method of sequencing DNA.
