Neogen Diagnostics Custom TMB Substrate, 1 L, HRP, Microwell, Colorimetric
Custom TMB Substrate is a one bottle stabilized chromogenic substrate for use with horseradish peroxidase (HRP) immunoassays. It contains both 3,3,5,5 tetramethylbenzidine (TMB) and hydrogen peroxide (H2O2). Custom TMB Substrate develops a deep blue color in the presence of peroxidase labelled conjugate. This substrate has been optimized for use with microwell assays, especially ELISA. Custom TMB is not for use with assays requiring a precipitating substrate. Stable for a minimum of 36-months when stored at 2-8C.

ABTS Substrate is a one-bottle, ready to use substrate for horseradish peroxidase (HRP) microwell applications. It contains 2.2’-azino-bis(3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid)-diammonium salt in a mildly acidic buffer. ABTS develops a blue-green color in the presence of a peroxidase labelled conjugate. The reaction can be stopped using 1% SDS stop solution. ABTS substrate is not applicable for use with assays requiring a precipitating substrate. Stable for a minimum of 36-months when stored at 2-8C.

TMB Membrane Plus Substrate is a ready-to-use solution. It contains 3,3’,5,5’-tetramethyl-benzidine in a mildly acidic buffer in a one bottle format. TMB Membrane Plus Substrate develops an insoluble, permanent dark blue reaction in the presence of peroxidase. The substrate is intended for western blot, dot blots, and line assays and offers comparable performance and sensitivity to some chemiluminescent substrates. This substrate is not recommended for microwell or immunohistochemical applications. Stable for 2 years, from the date of manufacture, when stored at room temperature (15 to 25C) or 48 months when stored at 2-8C.
