The CDC Biofilm Reactor consists of eight (8) polypropylene coupon holder rods suspended from a UHMW-polyethylene ported lid. Each coupon holder rod can accommodate three (3) 1/2-inch (12.7 mm) diameter coupons, for a total of twenty-four (24) coupons. The lid (with coupon holders and coupons) is mounted in a 1-liter glass vessel with side-arm discharge port. A liquid growth media or biocide is circulated through the vessel while mixing and shear is generated by a magnetic stir bar and vane rotated by a magnetic stir plate.The CDC Biofilm Reactor is completely autoclavable and reuseable. The total liquid volume is approximately 350 ml. More than forty (40) coupon materials are available, including plastics, metals, and ceramics.

50L Jacketed Reaction Vessel, Large Scale, 3" Beaded Pipe Drain Valve, 400mm Flange. Jacketed large scale process reaction vessels. The 50L vessels have a 400mm ID flat ground flange. The inlet/outlet of the vessels are beaded pipe fittings for use with the CG-1964 and CG-1969-A beaded pipe adapters. Reactors have a 3 beaded pipe valve that is detachable. These flush bottom (zero dead space) valves are designed to prevent solids from collecting in the bottom of the vessel. The 50L vessels equipped with the detachable zero dead space valve have a lower silicone seal. Vessels are serial numbered and have a graduation scale on both sides showing approximate volume. PLEASE NOTE: BOTTOM DRAIN VALVE, BEADED PIPE COUPLINGS, AND ADAPTERS MUST BE PURCHASED SEPARATELY.
