Lower Joint Adapter - 45/50 Lower Joint Adapter fits 10, 19 and 25.4mm Stir Shafts, 2-3/8in. Our NEW mechanical seal bearing is the only design on the market that will permit you to use your current glass, metal or PTFE covered stir shaft. The design allows you to have the flexibility of vertical adjustment and still choose your agitator diameter and style. Bearing has a ferrule and locking nut to ensure that the seal rotates properly, and is supplied complete with a gold plated wrench. Lower joint adapters are supplied complete with perfluorinated o-rings and a loosening nut. PLEASE NOTE: BEARING BODY AND LOWER JOINT ADAPTER MUST BE ORDERED SEPARATELY.**MAX RPM WILL DEPEND ON SHAFT AND/OR AGITATOR TYPE, ALONG WITH ALIGNMENT OF MOTOR AND COUPLING. CHEMGLASS RECOMMENDS A MAX OF 500 RPM WHEN USED WITH ANY GLASS VESSEL, LID OR SHAFT. LONGER LENGTH STIRRER SHAFTS ARE REQUIRED FOR USE WITH CG-2077-M MECHANICAL SEAL STIR BEARINGS.

Adapter, Flushing, 24/40 Inner Joint, 4mm Glass Stpk, Airfree, Schlenk. Adapter permits vessels to be purged with an inert gas during sampling or transfer with a AF-0519 cannula. Available with a 4mm high vacuum glass stopcock having a Stainless Steel constant pressure retention device. Both the glass and PTFE stopcock have 9mm OD medium wall arms for use with CG-3022-05 red or CG-3022-22 white septum stopper. Additional arm is provided for connection to inert gas source. Supplied with two CG-3022-05 red septum stopper.

Adapter has an outer Perfluoro o-ring to form a grease-free, airtight seal between the adapter and the listed size of outer joint. The compression nut works in conjunction with the upper Perfluoro o-ring to provide a airtight seal between the adapter and thermocouple. Adapter design permits use with CG-145 Keck clips.

Adapter has a lower inner joint and two top outer joints. Lower stopcock is a 10mm PTFE stopcock with a 1/2 or 3/4 OD distillate takeoff for use with a compression fitting and TFE tubing. PLEASE NOTE: ADAPTER CAN BE USED WITH COMPOUND ANGLED SIDE NECKS.

Chemglass Life Sciences Style ""A"" Gas Inlet Adapter, 45/50
Style "A" Gas Inlet Adapter, 45/50. Gas inlet adapter with 45/50 inner joint, is used for connection of the gas source to the lower reservoir. Inlet connection is 1/2 Swagelok tubing for use with CG-1975-20 compression fitting. Adapter has a large 25mm x 70mm Extra Coarse Fritted section that will disperse the gas sub-surface into the scrubbing fluid. This adapter is the best for hard to scrub gases.

Two sidearms are sealed to the barrel at a 90 angle to one another. Valve has a glass plug with three o-rings, the tip o-ring making the primary seal on the precision formed tapered seat. Available with a choice of Viton or Kalrez o-rings. See CG-983 for replacement plug and CG-585 for o-ring replacement kit. If individual o-ring is required see CG-305 for Viton or CG-308 for Kalrez. Valve has a glass plug with three o-rings, the tip o-ring making the primary seal on the precision formed tapered seat. Available with a choice of Viton or Kalrez o-rings.
