Description
The TaqMan Comprehensive Microbiota Control control can be included as a positive control for panel-specific amplification. It is available in two concentrations: 1 x 105 and 5 x 107 copies/μL. The higher concentration can be used to determine parameters necessary for analytical validation (e.g., limit of detection and Ct cut-off values).
The plasmid also contains target sequences for TaqMan Universal RNA Spike In/Reverse Transcription (Xeno) Control, TaqMan Universal Extraction Control Organism (B. atrophaeus), and the human RNase P RPPH1 gene. During real-time PCR, the control can be used as a stand-alone sample to verify assay performance and to help with troubleshooting.
Note: This product will be updated on an annual basis to ensure coverage of the most popular microbial targets, and performance will be measured to ensure consistency between versions.
