BD™ Cytometric Bead Array (CBA)
Measure a variety of soluble and intracellular proteins, including cytokines, chemokines, growth factors, and phosphorylated cell signaling proteins, using flow cytometry.
BD™ Horizon™ Fixable Viability Stain
Find a range of apoptosis detection tools that use flow cytometry, bioimaging, microscopy, and more to measure indicators at different stages across the apoptotic process.
BD Horizon Fixable Viability
Discover a series of antibodies and kits designed to detect proliferating cells.
BD Horizon Brilliant™ polymer conjugates have expanded the number of bright fluorochromes available for multicolor flow cytometry. BD Horizon Brilliant Stain Buffer, when added to samples prior to the addition of antibodies, can mitigate interactions, improving staining quality regardless of the source of reagents.
For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.
BD Brilliant Stain Buffer improves the performance of BV dyes in cocktails.
In the absence of BD Brilliant Stain Buffer, the CD4+ population shows non-specific interaction. Addition of BD Brilliant Stain Buffer restored the populations to their expected locations.
Enhanced performance of BV reagents.
In the absence of BD Brilliant Stain Buffer, these mutually exclusive populations can appear undercompensated. The addition of BD Brilliant Stain Buffer eliminates the issue, and staining returns to the expected pattern.
BD Horizon Brilliant Blue 515 (BB515) is a dye that was exclusively developed by BD Biosciences as a brighter alternative to FITC. This dye is significantly brighter than FITC and has less spillover into the PE channel. BB515 can be detected in the same filter as FITC (e.g. 530/30).
BD Horizon Brilliant Ultraviolet 395 (BUV395) is a UV-excitable dye that has been developed exclusively by BD Biosciences for instruments equipped with a 355-nm UV laser. This dye is optimal for multicolor flow cytometry because it has little-to-no spillover into other detectors. BUV395 can be detected in a 379/28 filter.
BD Horizon BUV496 is a tandem fluorochrome that combines BD Horizon BUV395 and an acceptor dye with an Em Max at 496 nm. BUV496 has been exclusively developed by BD Biosciences for instruments equipped with a 355-nm UV laser. BUV496 can be detected in a 515/30 filter.
BV421 offers a violet-excitable dye with significantly improved brightness over other dyers offered for the violet laser. Additionally, Brilliant Violet reagents are brighter than reagents for the blue and red lasers such as PE and APC, making BV421 the brightest dye offered by BD. The brightness of the dye makes it particularly useful in multicolor applications where it can be used to better resolve dim populations. BV421 can be detected in a 450/40 filter.
BD Horizon BV510 provides a brighter alternative to BD Horizon V500. The improved brightness provides a brighter option for the second violet channel allowing more flexibility in panel design. BV510 is ideal for dimmer markers while BD Horizon V500 is still a good choice for bright markers. BV510 can be detected in a 525/50 filter.
BV605 is a tandem fluorochrome consisting of BV421 and an acceptor dye with an emission maximum of 602nm. The BV605 antibody conjugates show brightness similar to equivalent PE reagents, providing an additional bright dye choice for the violet laser. With an excitation maximum of 407nm and emission maximum of 602nm, BV605 is excited by the violet laser can can be detected with standard filter sets.
BD Horizon Brilliant Violet 650 (BV650) is a tandem fluorochrome of BD Horizon BV421 and an acceptor dye with an Em Max at 650 nm. BV650 is a very bright dye, optimal for the dimmer markers in your panel.
BD Horizon BV711 is a tandem fluorochrome of BV421 and an acceptor dye with an Em Max at 711nm. It can be excited by the violet laser and detected in a filter used to detect Cy5.5 and Alexa Fluor 700-like dyes (such as a 710/50nm filter). Not only does BD Horizon BV711 provide an additional choice for multicolor panel design, its brightness makes it an optimal choice for dim markers.
BD Horizon Brilliant Violet 786 (BV786) is a tandem fluorochrome of BD Horizon BV421 and an acceptor dye with an Em Max at 786nm. BD Horizon BV786 offers a bright choice for the sixth detector off the violet laser. This dye can be detected in a 780/60 filter.
The BD Horizon PE-CF594 dye has been developed exclusively by BD Biosciences to have improved brightness and spectral characteristics over current dyes used for the PE-Texas Red detector.
