When ordering your live specimens, please call our customer service at +1 800-955-1177.

When you place your order you will need to provide:

• Requested delivery date
• Name of the instructor using the material

Living organisms are typically shipped Mondays through Wednesdays using FedEx™ 2nd-Day Air (by noon delivery). To meet your needs we can ship on any weekday by request and use a premium shipping method (not available to all locations).

Restrictions

• State Shipping Restrictions: Living specimens are restricted in some states: Please see the individual products for state restrictions. Some items have substitutions and/or replacements that can be provided upon receipt of the order.
• Seasonal Restrictions: Some living specimens are seasonal items and are only available at certain times during the year. Please see the individual products for seasonal availability.
• Coupons: With our prepaid coupons, you can order your organisms in advance and pay one price that includes shipping. We’ll send a coupon(s) that you later redeem by phone, fax, web or mail. Redeem coupon(s) at least two weeks prior to requested delivery date to ensure prompt arrival of material. Coupons do not have an expiration date.
• Hawaii Restriction Notice: Shipment of living materials (bacteria, algae, plants, protozoa, insects and other animals) into Hawaii are restricted.

Releasing Organisms

Living organisms are offered for educational purposes only. We do not advocate the release of organisms into the environment. In some states, it is illegal to release organisms, even indigenous species, without a permit.
