Applied Biosystems™ TrueMark™ Amplification Control I (5 x 107 copies/μL)
The TrueMark Amplification Control I for TrueMark plates contains a linearized multi-target plasmid pool with microbial target sequences used on TrueMark infectious disease research panels.
Supplier: Applied Biosystems™ A55698
Description
- TrueMark Amplification Control I contains a linearized multi-target plasmid pool with microbial target sequences used on TrueMark infectious disease research panels
- The control has targets relevant to respiratory, urinary, vaginal, and genital microbiota research
- It can be included as a positive control for panel-specific amplification
- The higher concentration (5 x 107 copies/) can be used to determine parameters necessary for analytical validation (e.g., limit of detection and Ct cut-off values)
- The plasmid also contains target sequences for TaqMan Universal Extraction Control Organism (Bacillus atrophaeus) and the human RNase P gene
- During real-time PCR, the control can be used as a stand-alone sample to verify assay performance and to help with troubleshooting
