Beard Covers

Beard Covers

Beard covers, also referred to as beard nets, are lightweight, breathable garments designed to catch dandruff, hair, and other toxins present on the beard to help ensure a clean and hygienic work area. They are secured to the beard area with an elastic band that wraps around the back of the head to offer a close, protective fit. Most beard covers are for one-time use and constructed of various disposable materials including, but not limited to, polypropylene, polyethylene, and nylon.

Cleanroom beard covers help eliminate worker-induced contamination within controlled environments. They are often worn in conjunction with hair covers, hoods, and facemasks and are used in cleanrooms, laboratories, manufacturing facilities, food processing plants, and other sterile environments.

General-purpose beard covers are designed for less critical areas and protect against dirt, grime, and other dry particulates in non-hazardous environments.

Flame-resistant (FR) beard covers are reusable and designed to complement arc flash protective clothing. Specific usage and regulatory compliance information can be found at the individual product level.
