HumaMatrix is a lyophilized native human-derived extracellular matrix (ECM) for coating and hydrogel applications. It is soluble in dilute acid at pH ~2.0. Due to its human nutrient-rich origin and minimal proprietary processing, HumaMatrix retains the native matrix proteins and growth factors such as collagen, elastin, laminin, glycosaminoglycans, and many others. The optimal concentration must be optimized. It is isolated from human tissue sourced strictly from American Association of Tissue Banks (AATB) accredited and FDA registered tissue banks and organ procurement organizations (OPOs) and manufactured under ISO 13485 certified and GMP-compliant quality system. Human tissue that has been tested negative for a minimum of HIV-1 and -2, hepatitis B, and hepatitis C, and other infectious agents.
