Type II collagen makes up 50% of all protein in cartilage, and is particularly prevalent in articular and hyaline cartilage. Forms fibrils that allows cartilage to trap proteoglycan aggregate and provide tissue tensile strength. This product contains bovine-derived collagen suitable for immunization to induce development of arthritis in animal models. Provided as 10 mg of dry powder.
