Rapid, Efficient Concentration
  • Optimally suited for cell culture supernatant concentration, virus concentration and water concentration
  • Utilizes a 200cm2 PES or Hydrosart membrane for high flow rate
  • Thin-channel, flip-flow recirculation path provides high crossflow velocities with minimum pump speed
  • Fast concentration using one or two cassettes
    • A single module typically concentrates 1L by a factor of 50 in less than 30 minutes
    • Two modules used in parallel concentrates 5L by a factor of 50 in under 75 minutes
  • Near total recovery of the concentrate is achieved with a single rinse
  • A 500ml sealed diafiltration reservoir can be added for rapid and convenient buffer exchange
Convenient and Easy to Use
  • One unit comes with all necessary accessories (except pump and pump head)
    • Includes tubing, pressure indicator, flow restrictor and high pressure pump tubing
    • Required equipment: peristaltic pump with a size 16 pump head
  • Can be easily cleaned and re-used several times
  • Clear housing for process monitoring
  • Ready-to-use, disposable cassettes
  • Easily set up two cassettes to run simultaneously for faster concentration
    • Use a pre-assembled Y connector with the correct tubing sizes and fittings
    • Size 16 tubing is used for connecting the two Vivaflow 200 units
    • Size 15 tubing to connect to the pump, with a size 15 pump head
