• The VetMAX™-Gold SIV Detection assay is a single-tube (or well) real-time RT-PCR assay in which SIV and Xeno™ internal positive control RNA is reverse transcribed into cDNA, then amplified and detected in real time using fluorescent TaqMan™ probes

• Kit is not intended for the differentiation of SIV subtypes
