The Merit Simpson Uterine Sound is an office-grade, malleable, silver plated OB/GYN instrument used for probing and dilating the uterus, as well as measuring the length of the cervical canal. It is round and thin with a small nodule at the tip and a thumb grip handle. It is very similar to the Sims uterine sound. This product has a gently curved tip, graduated centimeter markings, and an overall length of 12-1/2 inches.
