Acrodisc Syringe Filters with PTFE Membrane - 0.45 m, Standard 25mm.Syringe filters with PTFE membrane are ideal for the filtration of organic solvents and harsh solvents in HPLC (0.45 m) and UHPLC (0.2 m) sample preparation. Sample filtration helps protect sensitive parts of analytical instrumentation from particulate build-up, extending the life of chromatography columns and reducing system downtime. PTFE is a hydrophobic membrane and is not suitable for the filtration of aqueous solutions, however these syringe filters are ideal to use in venting applications. 25 mm Standard Acrodisc Syringe Filters are ideal for sample volumes of 100 mL and feature an effective filtration area of 2.8 cm2. They feature a polypropylene housing that is chemically resistant to harsh solvents and low in extractables. This product is not approved for use in medical, clinical, surgical or other patient applications.
