Description

Achieve accurate and selective quantitation of RNA with the Qubit RNA HS, BR, and XR Assay kits. These RNA quantification kits enable quick and sensitive detection of low and high abundance RNA, and can distinguish between RNA and DNA, protein, and free nucleotides. Contaminants, such as salts, solvents, or detergents are well-tolerated in the HS and BR assays.

Qubit RNA HS Assay Kit
The Qubit RNA HS (High Sensitivity) Assay Kit, when used with the Qubit Fluorometer, provides an accurate and selective method for the quantitation of low-abundance RNA samples. The assay kit is designed to be accurate for RNA sample concentrations between 250 pg/µL and 100 ng/µL.

Qubit RNA BR Assay Kit
The Qubit RNA BR (Broad-Range) Assay Kit, when used with the Qubit Fluorometer, provides an accurate and selective method for the quantitation of high-abundance RNA samples. The assay kit is designed to be accurate for initial RNA sample concentrations ranging from 1 ng/µL to 1 µg/µL, providing an assay quantitation range from 20–1,000 ng.

The Qubit RNA XR (Extended Range) Assay Kit, designed for use with the Qubit 4 and Qubit Flex fluorometers, provides an accurate and selective method for the quantitation of high-abundance RNA samples. The assay kit is designed to be accurate for initial RNA sample concentrations of 10 to 10,000 ng/µL depending on sample volume, providing a linear detection range of 200−10,000 ng.

The Qubit RNA XR Assay RNA standard is designed for use with the Qubit RNA XR Assay Kit and the Quant-iT RNA XR Assay Kit. It is supplied at the same concentration as the highest concentration RNA standard in the Quant-iT RNA XR Assay Kit and is simply diluted into the standard series. This standard cannot be used as a replacement for the large and/or structured standard in the Qubit RNA IQ Assay. Sufficient material is supplied to perform standards with up to 500 samples.

Notes:
1. Use thin-wall, clear, 0.5-mL PCR tubes (Cat. No. Q32856) for the Qubit 4 fluorometer and 8 x 200-µL tube strips (Cat. No. Q33252) for the Qubit Flex fluorometer.
2. Qubit 4 and Qubit Flex fluorometers may require a firmware update to run the RNA XR Assay.

The Qubit RNA HS, BR, and XR assays are highly selective for RNA and will not quantitate DNA, protein, or free nucleotides. Common contaminants, such as salts, free nucleotides, solvents, detergents, or protein, are well-tolerated in the HS and BR assays.

All kits provide concentrated assay reagent, dilution buffer, and pre-diluted RNA standards. Simply dilute the reagent using the buffer provided, add your sample (any volume between 1 µL and 20 µL is acceptable), and read the concentration using the Qubit Fluorometer. For the XR Assay, read concentration using the Qubit 4 or Qubit Flex Fluorometer.
