Measure fibrinogen degradation products (FDP) in serum and urine with Thermo Scientific™ Pacific Hemostasis™ FDP Assay, a fast, easy-to-use latex agglutination assay used in the diagnosis of disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC), deep vein thrombosis (DVT), pulmonary embolism (PE), certain pregnancy disorders and myocardial infarction.
FDP is used in the diagnosis of disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC), deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE). Additionally, it is used to diagnose certain pregnancy disorders and myocardial infarction.- Latex sensitivity of 1ug/mL of FDP
- No pretreatment of heparin specimen
- No repeat testing due to false positives from heparin interference
