Oxytocin is a nine amino acid neurohypophysial hormone that acts as a neuromodulator in the brain. It is produced in the hypothalamus and secreted from the pituitary, and controls key parts of the reproductive system and brain, especially active during and after childbirth. Acts as an agonist for OXTR. Provided as 5 mg of dry powder. These highly purified, pre-validated control ligands have been used to qualify our InCELL Hunter,  PathHunter and cAMP Hunter cell lines as well as our Assay Ready Kits.
