Gypsy Moth Diet is used for general colony maintenance of moth larvae

Product Description:

Gypsy moth diet has previously been known as the High Wheat Germ Diet. The Gypsy Moth Diet is available with agar included, packaged separately or omitted completely. Methyl paraben and sorbic acid added as preservatives. For complete diet composition, please see the Product Datasheet

Recommended Use:

Add 60 grams of Agar to approximately 3.6 liters of distilled water. Bring to a boil. Allow to dissolve. Add 664 grams of Gypsy Moth Diet to the boiling Agar solution. Add water if necessary to bring to volume. Add antimicrobial agents at this point if desired. Mix the formulation well in a large blender before dispensing into rearing containers.
