Calibration of the secondary standards is accomplished through the use of a high-performance UV/VIS/NIR spectrophotometer
Description
These standards allow calibration of wavelength and absorbance for almost any spectrophotometer. Especially useful for QC, environmental or pharmaceutical laboratories that require verification for compliance with U.S. EPA or FDA regulations.
- Instrument checked at fixed intervals with the aid of a set of primary standards from the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST™) and is used exclusively for this purpose
- Because the successful use of the secondary standards is dependent on their proper handling with respect to the spectrophotometer, each set comes complete with extensive handling instructions
- Standard set is supplied in a storage case with five glass filters
