Supplier: Eurofins Discoverx 921224
Erythropoietin (EPO) is a glycoprotein renal hormone responsible for promoting erythropoiesis (formation of red blood cells) by bone marrow. Oxygen scarcity or bleeding stimulate release of EPO. It can be used to test for and treat certain blood conditions like anemia, and has been misused by athletes as a performance-enhancer. Acts as an agonist for EpoR. Provided as 10 μg of dry powder alongside reconstitution buffer. These highly purified, pre-validated control ligands have been used to qualify our InCELL Hunter, PathHunter and cAMP Hunter cell lines as well as our Assay Ready Kits. Ligands are conveniently supplied with a recommended reconstitution buffer. For detailed information and product-specific datasheet, visit www.discoverx.com/ligands.
