CD11c is primarily expressed on dendritic cells, NK cells, a subset of intestinal intraepithelial lymphocytes (IEL), and some activated T cells. It has also been associated with hairy cell leukemias, acute nonlymphocytic leukemias, and some B cell chronic lymphocytic leukemias.
