Invitrogen™ Cap Analog (m7G(5')ppp(5')G), 10 A254 units
For 5' capped RNA molecules synthesis as part of in vitro transcription reactions
Supplier: Invitrogen™ AM8048
Includes: Single tube (10 A254 U).
Description
Invitrogen Cap Analog [m7G(5')ppp(5')G] is used for the synthesis of 5' capped RNA molecules as part of in vitro transcription reactions. These molecules are translated more efficiently using in vitro translation systems than uncapped mRNAs. 10 A254 U supplied.
- Used as a highly specific inhibitor of the initiation step of protein synthesis.
- Tested for contaminating nonspecific endonuclease, exonuclease, and RNase activity
- Assayed for efficient synthesis of capped in vitro transcripts by using cap analog in functional MEGAscript™ In Vitro transcription and Retic Lysate translation reactions
