β-Alanine is a common non-essential beta amino acid formed by degradation of dihydrouracil and carnosine. Levels of β-alanine limit the amount of carnosine, and it has been used frequently as a workout supplement to increase carnosine concentrations in muscle. This assists in building lean muscle mass, and can also improve physical functioning and performance. Acts as an agonist for MRGPRD. Provided as 10 mg of dry powder. These highly purified, pre-validated control ligands have been used to qualify our InCELL Hunter,  PathHunter and cAMP Hunter cell lines as well as our Assay Ready Kits.
