3-D Life CD-Link, MMP-degradable thiol-modified PEG-peptide conjugate, hydrogel crosslinker component (200 ul). INTRO: 3-D Life, manufactured in Germany by Cellendes GmbH, is an integrated system for generation of hydrogels used in 3D cell culture. 3-D Life represents the most flexible system for biomimetic hydrogel design. DESCRIPTION: 3-D Life CD-Link molecule consists of a polyethylene glycol-peptide conjugate carrying a thiol at each end. When combined with 3-D Life polymers, thiol groups on CD-Link form stable thioether bonds with thiol-reactive groups on the polymers, resulting in gel formation. CD-Link can be used with 3-D Life polymers Mal-PVA, Mal-Dextran, SG-PVA and SG-Dextran. CD-Link contains an MMP-cleavable peptide sequence, which is cleaved by a broad range of MMPs, allowing cells to locally degrade the polymer network if they produce the indicated MMPs. QUANTITY: When used with 3-D Life system up to 2 ml hydrogel can be generated, depending on gel stiffness.
